Trekking Training Guide

Walking might be something that we do every day but we strongly urge that you train for your trek and try to go on plenty of long walks (in your boots, to break them in!) in preparation for your challenge, as well as other activities such as swimming or time at the gym to really help build up your fitness and stamina.

We recommend that you start training several months before your event - if you do not walk often and have only a basic level of fitness you should allow more than the 16 weeks outlined in our training guide.
